Crumbling Castle
Helen Craig
The basement of Crumbling Castle is inhabited by wizard Zebeleum and his crow, Jason; but the castle has other inhabitants, too. There's the invisible ghost who has to be scared to become scary himself and the dragon who needs lessons in dragonlore. Gentle, cosy magic for solo readers at the lower end of the junior school who will enjoy Helen Craig's amusing, detailed line drawings which are nicely integrated with the text.
