Literate and well-paced enjoyment in this tale of a young sleuth's unfolding of the mysteries. A richly-drawn seaside town setting and cleverly-woven plotting from a writer enjoyed by sevens to nines. Some very deft touches, especially when he catches the contemporary tang of radio-speak.
