Ramona Forever
Ramona finds that growing up is hard work. Adults are generally difficult. Howie's uncle is by far the most impossible and becomes even more so when Ramona discovers that he is to marry her favourite aunt. At the same times as coming to terms with this Ramona has to bury the family cat and accept that she will no longer be the baby of the Quimby family. However by the last chapter Ramona has decided that being a new baby is far harder and that she is coping quite well with the business of maturing. Lots of smiles rather than laughs. The setting is very American but the problems are those of most families and most little girls. A happy addition to the Ramona list.
