Small Knight and George and the Pirates
Arthur Robins
Here is a great partnership, Armitage’s easy writing style complimented perfectly by Robins’ inimitably whacky illustrations. The storyline is full of fun, the setting a leaking, tumbling down castle. With a lack of funds for repairs, the King and Queen decide the only solution is to send Small Knight a-pirating. Out of thin air, The King magics a motley crew, a pirate ship and a treasure map. Great adventures ensue for this brave little Knight as he searches across oceans for the dastardly Captain Swashmebuckle and TREASURE to enable castle repairs. What a romping adventure, full of splendid surprises, perfect for all small would-be swash-buckling pirates. Wonderfully crazy pictures!
