Fifi and Frankie are twins, identical in looks though not in dress, nor in personality.Fifi is the ‘girly’ one, while Frankie is a tomboy. The one thing the girls agree about is Funny Bunny. They both love him to bits, and they find it very hard to share him.The crisis comes one day at Grandma Flo’s house when each girl insists he belongs to her, and in the ensuing battle, poor Funny Bunny has his ears pulled off. Grandma Flo performs the surgical reattachment while explaining about sharing, and Fifi and Frankie work out a chart so each of them has three days a week full custody. They must share on Sundays, however, and it’s clear from the expression on Funny Bunny’s face that he isn’t sure about this arrangement. The illustrations are funny and clever with lots of integrated and differentiated text, and children will thoroughly enjoy the twins’ temper fit with the fur flying – literally!
