Dixon goes from strength to strength in each new collection of poems. The Colour of My Dreams is a good title for all the themes and subjects addressed in these poems. There are poems on shadows, cuddles, angles, escaped hamsters, worksheets and wheelchair access. Thomas deserves special mention for his illustrations which go far beyond the usual format and quality of artwork to be found in the typical paperback primary age anthology produced these days.
