A new series of space adventures for elevens and upwards starring Tom Swift.

Fast moving, always on the brink of desperation or destruction, with well structured tension, evenly distributed throughout each story. The twelve year olds who read these first two titles gave unanimous thumbs up verdicts, with the interesting qualification that they didn't read much space stuff now. Obviously kids' reading habits are cyclical, and I wonder if space fiction is going to slip in the popularity stakes for a while in the eighties.
