This is the spooky sequel to Whitbread Winner Harvey Angell. Eccentric adults abound in Henry's lonely life and they appear to get even more embarrassing when a holiday is planned at a forbidding-looking house in Fife. Things look up when its ghostly occupant reveals itself and a desolate tale of the past slowly unfolds, embroiling Henry and his guardians in mystery and tension, relieved only by the calming presence of Harvey Angell, the man with skills to 'home' spirits and to connect remaining loved ones to 'the current', which is 'The energy that was love'. Told at a fast, compelling pace and with sly humour, this title is well worth promoting.
